It’s no secret that when October rolls around, Downtown Lawrenceville, the oldest city in Gwinnett, is the place to get your fix of spooky thrills and fun. What you may not know is that this spooky season, Aurora Theatre is hosting not one, not two but four unique Halloween experiences. From creepy pub crawls to lantern-lit tours, each experience will be full of local legends and ghost stories. Here are Aurora Theatre’s Haunted Happenings coming to Downtown Lawrenceville!
Haunted Happenings is bringing four thrilling haunts to the square: Lawrenceville Ghost Tours, Brews and Boos Pub Crawl, Haunted Cemetery Tours and Private Tours, so you can choose your adventure. Will you stroll down the streets of the square on the Lawrenceville Ghost Tour, hearing tales of paranormal encounters and uncovering 200 years’ worth of chilling history or will you choose an even scarier Haunted Cemetery Tour through one of the oldest cemeteries in the Southeast? Both tours are led by expert storytellers, ready to weave inexplicable accounts and the history of the buildings rising above you and the buried below you.
If you’re searching for a slightly more spirited adventure, then consider the Brews and Boos: Haunted Pub Crawl, where our 21+ ghost hunters can discover the ghosts of Lawrenceville and the ales, too! This creepy crawl will take you through the square, hearing ghost stories, playing games, singing songs and of course stopping for plenty of drinks at Truck and Tap, McCray’s Tavern and Universal Joint.
In the spirit of choosing your own Halloween adventure, you can also opt to make your adventure more private with Private Tours. Book any of the aforementioned tours for just you and your group. Maybe your October adventure is a private pub crawl with your friends, or maybe it’s a downtown ghost tour with your coworker crew. Whether you’re hosting a family reunion over scary ghost stories or a team-building exercise bonding over the thrills in a haunted cemetery, booking a private tour is the perfect way to ensure some spooky memories with your ghost hunting team of choice! Aurora Theatre’s Haunted Happenings will be haunting Downtown Lawrenceville from now until November 1st, so which adventure will you choose?
