For this week’s Thirsty Thursday, we’re spotlighting A Land of a Thousand Hills, a newly opened coffee shop in Gwinnett. They have a couple of locations in the Atlanta area but have now branched out to our community! Tucked away in Downtown Duluth, this trendy and cozy coffee shop is quickly becoming a favorite amongst locals.
Inside, the vibes are immediately welcoming with beautiful pictures of art on the wall and plenty of seating at the counter and throughout the shop. As for their menu, they have an assortment of espresso drinks, blended chills, gelato and non-coffee drinks. They also have a pastry case with baked treats, including croissants and key lime shortbread bites that are absolutely delicious.
For our Thirsty Thursday spotlight, we’re highlighting one of their Summer Special drinks: the Sunshine Mocha. Featuring espresso, orange syrup, chocolate drizzle and a sliced orange for garnish, this iced drink is the embodiment of summer. The chocolate and orange syrup perfectly complement each other with decadent and fragrant citrus notes, making it a delicious drink. If you’re a fan of this combo in your coffee, you need to try their take! You can also get whipped cream for that extra layer of decadence.
