If you’re looking for one of the newest and hottest places to eatin downtown Norcross, the recently opened B&W Burgers, Buns& Brews on South Peachtree is a must. The atmosphere is inviting and warm with its dynamic, bold, red colors and multiple TVs. At the same time, the menu is full of comfort food at its best.

My two lunch companions and I had spinach dip, a B&W SmashBurger and a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with fries. The chips served with the spinach dip would have fed a small army. The Smash Burger was cooked to perfection, and the PhillyCheesesteak sandwich is now one of my new favorites, with its warm bun and steak cooked to perfection. All food was served promptly and hot, and the prices were fair and competitive. Service was personable, and we appreciated the manager touching tables and checking in.

For those not from Norcross, this location has been home to B&W Automotive Sales since 1969. B&W was akin to the old-fashioned corner drug store; anyone and everyone stopped by to chat with the owner, Wayne, whether they needed auto parts or not.

The new eatery honored the history of B&W Automotive and kept the name alive. With its rooftop patio, diverse menu and excellent service, this restaurant will be a Norcross staple for years to come. And an insider’s tip: if you arrive early on a Friday night in the summer, you can snag a spot on the upstairs patio and hear theSummer Concert Series in downtown Norcross. When you grab dinner and a concert, tell them we sent ya!
