If you’re a host during the holidays, it can be easy to fall into a routine of serving the same drinks over and over again to your friends and family. These holiday drink recipes will make it easy to wow your guests and offer everyone a cup of festive spirit!
Poinsettia
- In a chilled champagne flute, add:
- 1 Ounce Orange Liqueur
- 3 Ounces Cranberry Juice
- Top with sparkling wine
- Garnish with a rosemary sprig, 3 fresh cranberries and enjoy!
Gingerbread Espresso Martini
- In a shaker tin, add:
- 1 Ounce Vodka
- 1 Ounce Coffee Liqueur
- 1 Ounce Espresso (or Cold Brew)
- 1 Ounce Gingerbread Syrup*
- Add ice, shake, then strain through a fine mesh strainer into a large coupe.
- Serve with a gingerbread cookie!
*To make the Gingerbread Syrup, combine in a pot:
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup Water
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Ginger
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
Peppermint Manhattan
- In a stirring glass, add:
- 2 Ounces Bourbon
- ½ Ounce Sweet Vermouth
- ½ Ounce Peppermint Liqueur
- 1 Dash Chocolate Bitters
- Strain into a small coupe glass and garnish with a candy cane. Cheers!
Eggnog
(Serves 8)
- In a mixing bowl, beat 4 Egg Yolks with 4 Tablespoons of Sugar until fluffy
- Stir in 4 Cups of Whole Milk, ½ Cup of Heavy Cream and 1 Cup of Brandy
- In a separate bowl, beat the 4 Egg Whites and 4 Tablespoons of Sugar, then gently fold into the other bowl.
- Pour into rocks glasses, garnish each with a cinnamon stick and enjoy!
