Downtown Lawrenceville is home to a variety of incredible eateries where you can get everything from mouthwatering BBQ to innovative tacos and more. It’s the perfect place for foodie lovers looking for delicious bites and sips! For this week’s Thirsty Thursday spotlight, we’re highlighting Tea Lam’s Corner, an authentic Vietnamese spot.
Tea Lam’s Corner is a casual eatery that specializes in Vietnamese dishes and boba tea. It’s located just across the street from Boulder Creek Coffee and is a popular spot to grab lunch or a late-night craving! Inside, the atmosphere is artistic and colorful, from the beautiful hand-painted murals that adorn the walls to a woven basket wall display. There’s also a welcoming vibe to the establishment, which is evoked in the free board game section of the shop that’s free for patrons to use as they enjoy their visit. In fact, during lunchtime you’ll see many families and friend groups settle down with a delicious bowl of phở to play a round or two of their favorite board games. To learn more about this establishment, check out our past Small Business Spotlight on this incredible establishment.
For this week’s spotlight, we’re focusing on the drinks offered at Tea Lam’s Corner, specifically the Ube Oreo Latte. This speciality drink features an ube base with a cream top that’s dusted with crushed Oreo pieces. If you haven’t tried ube yet, this purple yam has a slightly nutty, vanilla flavor that pairs well with almost anything! We also added boba pearls to this drink, which took it to the next level. The ube flavor comes through perfectly, giving this drink a cookies n’ cream bubble tea vibe. It’s not overly sweet either, making it a great option for those who don’t necessarily want a super sugary bubble tea experience. All of their drinks are served in adorable cat-shaped cups, adding a cute aesthetic that’s Instagram-worthy.
The next time you’re craving a bubble tea, head over to Tea Lam’s Corner! From their Ube Oreo Latte to their savory Vietnamese bites, you’ll have an incredible foodie experience.
