Prepare to be BLOWN away!! Local artist and expert Kelly Robertson has displayed his talents at the local Cavalry Glassblowing Studio. Visitors and shoppers alike can stroll through the gallery of elegantly crafted pieces or sign up for a class to create an original work of their own!
With over 20 years of experience working with glass, it’s safe to say that Robertson’s Cavalry Glass Studio gallery is filled with beautiful, unique pieces. As a Lawrenceville native, Robertson returned home to open his very own studio, and we can’t think of a better city to showcase this longtime local resident’s artistic and creative talents. Shop the studio for one-of-a-kind signature Cavalry pieces such as seasonal decor, pumpkins, flowers, vases and more!
Owner of Cavalry Glass Studio, Kelly Robertson, is a one-person show. When he’s not sculpting pieces himself, he can be found sharing his knowledge with those brave enough to give the craft a try! With classes for all skill levels, beginners or more experienced artists can learn the tricks of the trade from Kelly himself!
The studio offers private classes and group classes in a range of different styles. Call the studio at (770)-317-1945 for group classes larger than eight, and they’ll set up a special class to accommodate you and your crew! Slower-paced classes will cover form and technique, while returning and advanced courses will tackle projects with slightly higher levels of difficulty. The Gallery and Studio are open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Check Cavalry’s website, cavalryglass.com, for more information on specialty Saturday workshops this summer and group and private class times throughout the week.
