A heartfelt THANK YOU to Mayor Greg Whitlock, Duluth City Council, @paintlove, @exploregwinnett, @dhswildcats, and the Duluth Public Art Commission for making the storm drains on George Rogers Avenue a beautiful success!
This creative collaboration brought students, artists, and city partners together to transform storm drains into stunning works of art—raising awareness about stormwater pollution, sustainability, and environmental stewardship through art with a purpose.
Special thanks to the City of Duluth’s Stormwater Department, Gwinnett County Public Schools TV, and everyone who supported this initiative behind the scenes.
This project was made possible in part by a grant from the Gwinnett Creativity Fund, helping us turn infrastructure into inspiration for the entire community.
Together, we’re not just painting drains—we’re sparking dialogue, educating future leaders, and making Duluth a little brighter (and greener) one mural at a time.
