How long have you been an artist?
“I’ve always had art in my life, it is a part of who I am. I’ve evolved over the years, but I have always been an artist.”

 How did you get started?
“My earliest memory of creating is when I was four years old, drawing at the kitchen table. I am a self-taught artist, who is continually learning from workshops, books and teaching others.”

What kind of art do you specialize in?
“I work mainly in watercolor and acrylic in a nonobjective, abstract style. My watercolors are done on Yupo, which is a synthetic, nonabsorbent paper.”

What do you love most about your work?
“I love creating, in any form. I love when my work speaks to someone; it keeps them looking and seeing something new the longer they look.”

What are your favorite art attractions in Gwinnett?
“My favorite, of course, is Norcross Gallery and Studios. I love downtown Norcross!  It has an amazing atmosphere, wonderful businesses and restaurants. It has something for everyone.”
