We DiG The Artsy Side Of Summer

By Mina Kinjo

Calling all art lovers, music fans, creative souls and anyone looking for a Saturday that’s anything but ordinary. Hosted by the City of Lawrenceville, Evening of Arts is taking over the Lawrenceville Arts Center on Saturday, July 25, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and trust us, this masterpiece of an event deserves a spot on your calendar.

Think of it as a giant creative playground where inspiration is around every corner. One minute you’re watching a high-energy dance performance that leaves your jaw on the floor. The next moment,  you’re browsing handcrafted treasures from local artisans while debating whether your living room absolutely needs that one-of-a-kind piece. Spoiler alert: it does.

Feeling artsy? Roll up your sleeves and dive into hands-on experiences like painting, terrarium building and henna art. No experience? No problem. This is all about having fun, getting creative and maybe discovering your hidden artistic alter ego.

The entertainment lineup is serving serious talent, too. Expect everything from smooth jazz and live music to multicultural performances, theater and gravity-defying acrobatics that will have you wondering, “Wait… how did they do that?” And because creativity works up an appetite, delicious food vendors will be on site serving up tasty bites throughout the evening.

Whether you’re bringing the family, planning a date night, gathering the friend group or simply looking for a colorful way to spend your Saturday, Evening of Arts is ready to deliver. So grab your crew, bring your curiosity and prepare to color outside the lines. After all, the best nights aren’t just remembered. They’re created!
