Duluth’s latest coffee spot, Kafeiin Coffee, has just opened its doors and it’s already seen a massive turnout! After going viral on TikTok, their soft opening proved to be an instant success, seeing large crowds of eager matcha and coffee lovers waiting to see if the hype behind this new spot was true (spoiler alert: it is).
Inside, you’ll find a very minimalistic and modern approach to the coffee shop’s decor through its neutral tones. There are fun elements incorporated, including a mirror with the phrase “Your daily dose of kafeiin” that greets you as you walk inside and a section of greenery with glowing lights. Everything from the neutral color palette to the furniture gives the coffee shop a trendy feel. As for their menu, it features a variety of unique sips, from Ube Cream Coffee to Egg Cloud Coffee, along with a ton of matcha variations. One thing you’ll instantly notice is that Kafeiin Coffee puts taste and attention to detail on the same pedestal so every drink tastes delicious and has an aesthetic layered look to it. The banana cream that sits on top of the matcha had a great profile without tasting fake like a banana-flavored Laffy Taffy. When you pair the banana cream with the rich matcha, it gives the perfect combination of sweet, fruity and earthy.
