Slutty Vegan first opened its doors in 2018 and has been a food phenomenon ever since. Slutty Vegan was founded on breaking the stereotype behind the vegan lifestyle. Vegan food doesn’t have to consist of solely kale and tofu but can be mouth-wateringly delicious! Slutty Vegan specializes in making unique burgers using Impossible Meat, which is 100% plant-based.
Approaching the Edgewood location, Slutty Vegan makes its presence known. The building is vibrant yellow, plastered with bold words and overflowing with music. Slutty Vegan radiates a positive, high energy environment and much like the atmosphere of the establishment, the menu is just as colorful!
The menu offers a unique variety of 100% plant-based burgers, each item having a “slutty” themed name. I selected the “Sloppy Top Burger,” which is a plant-based patty stacked with jalapenos, vegan cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato and signature Slut Sauce all held between a vegan Hawaiian bun. Every burger comes with a side of Slutty Fries, which are sprinkled with their signature Slut Dust seasoning.
In most cases, my phone camera gets to the action before I do, but this time I was too eager to wait! So apologies for the photo of a bitten burger, which only captures that I’m now a true Slutty Vegan fan. Every bite was full of flavor and proves that vegan options can be accessible, delicious and fun!
Now that I’ve peaked your taste buds, I’ve got very exciting news to share—in 2022, Slutty Vegan is coming to Gwinnett! Located at 2131 Pleasant Hill, the new location will be ready to serve the community and provide good food and a good time. So get ready, Gwinnett because it’s not only a Slutty Vegan movement but a Slutty Vegan takeover!
