TASTE TEST: NOBLE FIN

By

High quality steaks and seafood, excellent customer service and a fashionable atmosphere–what else would you expect from a place called Noble Fin?

We cannot sing enough praises for our experience dining at Noble Fin! Owned by serial restaurant-creator and 2015 GRACE Restaurateur of the Year Cliff Bramble, Peachtree Corners’ Noble Fin has already been recognized by Atlanta Magazine as “One of the Best Restaurants in Atlanta.”

When you walk into Noble Fin, expect to be immediately swathed in an atmosphere of supreme indulgence. Low, ambient lighting pairs with spacious and comfortable table settings, allowing you to sit back, relax and enjoy a private evening with your companions. The waiters are friendly and knowledgeable (seriously, we were tempted to ask them to write this article for us), yet quietly inconspicuous, leaving you to relish their delectable menu–and relish you will!

We started with a selection of recommended appetizers: the fried oysters, house smoked salmon and Maryland crab cake. All were delightful, but the salmon really shined through as the star of the show–full of flavor, it is prepared with crispy plantains, red onion, serrano peppers, smoked trout roe, honey-lime vinaigrette and cilantro. (If you are a crab cake aficionado, though, do try this one–it is fresh and jumbo lump!) You can also never go wrong with the Grand Crudo Platter, according to our waiter–it serves a little bit of everything from jump shrimp and oysters to crab and lobster all on one chilled tray. For the main course, you best prepare yourself now for a tough decision: surf or turf??? Luckily, either choice is a good one. Our filet was cooked deliciously to preference–with no need for sauce–and the scallops were absolute heaven.

For dessert, you could go the traditional route and try one of their decadent cakes and puddings…but we recommend the “Grow a Pear” cocktail! (BTW, how great is that name?) Made from Absolut Pear vodka, St Germain and lemon, there is a luscious slice of pear floating–and soaking–on top that will be the pièce de résistance of your night. Noble Fin
