Sugar and Ice, a new ice cream shop that offers alcohol-infused ice cream, opened its doors on Saturday, June 24th at 3095 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Duluth. Don’t worry, it’s kid-friendly! The menu includes both alcohol-infused and nonalcoholic ice cream flavors. The shop has plans to offer more than 30 rotating flavors (check out Blueberry Mojito, Pina Colada and Guiness Chocolate Chip). The waffle cones, made in-house, come in four flavors: regular, chocolate, sweet potato and red velvet. Our recommendation? The Smooshie Bun, a decadent ice cream sandwich made with a warm, glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut that gets sliced in half and filled with your choice of ice cream and toppings like chocolate syrup, sprinkles, chopped almonds or Fruity Pebbles!
