Beats on the Streets Continues Through July
There’s still time to enjoy Beats on the Streets, Downtown Lawrenceville’s weekly outdoor music experience.
Every Thursday through July 23, DJs bring live music to the Downtown Square from 6 PM to 10 PM, creating the perfect soundtrack for an evening of shopping, dining, and exploring downtown. Whether you’re grabbing dinner, meeting friends, or simply enjoying a summer stroll, Beats on the Streets keeps the energy flowing all season long.
Lawrenceville Movie Club Continues with Two Final Summer Screenings
On July 23, audiences can enjoy Romeo + Juliet at the Lawrenceville Arts Center from 6 PM to 10 PM. The night kicks off at 6 PM with Beats on the Streets and a costume contest judging, inviting moviegoers to channel the iconic style of the 1996 film with their best looks. The costume contest winner will be announced before the movie begins at 7:30 PM. Then, dance the night away at the final installment of Beats on the Streets!
The season concludes on August 7 with a special National Night Out Movie Club event at the Lawrenceville Lawn from 6 PM to 9 PM. In addition to a special screening of Turner & Hooch starting at 7 PM, families can enjoy a Touch-A-Truck showcase featuring vehicles and equipment used by the departments and teams that help keep Lawrenceville safe, clean, and thriving.
Experience Creativity at Evening of the Arts
On July 25, the Lawrenceville Arts Center transforms into a hub of creativity during Evening of the Arts, taking place from 3 PM to 9 PM.
This immersive event invites guests to engage with art through live performances, interactive workshops, art displays, and local vendors. Whether you’re an artist, an arts enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique evening downtown, Evening of the Arts offers opportunities to explore, create, and be inspired.
Celebrate 250 Years of America’s Journey
Join the community on August 1 for America 250: Celebrating Our Journey, a day-long celebration honoring 250 years of American history, innovation, and culture.
The event will feature music, storytelling, historical experiences, family activities, and opportunities to reflect on the nation’s past while looking toward its future all across Downtown Lawrenceville. The celebration culminates with a free outdoor concert by the Lawrenceville Symphony Orchestra at 8 PM, followed by a spectacular drone show at 9:30 PM over the Lawrenceville Lawn.
LIVE in the DTL Keeps the Music Going
The summer concert season continues with two more performances of LIVE in the DTL, Lawrenceville’s free outdoor concert series.
On August 14, Pandora’s Box: The Ultimate Tribute to Aerosmith will take the stage at the Lawrenceville Lawn from 8 PM to 10 PM. The series wraps up on September 25 with Larger Than Life, a boy band review, also at the Lawrenceville Lawn from 8 PM to 10 PM. Known for bringing together high-energy tribute acts and exciting live entertainment, LIVE in the DTL offers unforgettable nights under the stars.
Guests looking to elevate their concert experience can purchase VIP tickets at lville.city/VIP. The VIP Ticket Package includes two VIP concert tickets, a designated parking spot in the Green Lot (Luckie Street Parking Lot), access to an exclusive VIP bar, a picnic for two from Universal Joint, plus premium concert seating with a table and chairs and continued access to the VIP bar during the show.

Celebrate Latin Heritage Month at CULTURA
Mark your calendars for CULTURA, a two-day celebration of Latin Heritage Month taking place September 18-19.
The festivities begin on September 18 at the Lawrenceville Arts Center from 5 PM to 10 PM and continue on September 19 throughout the Lawrenceville Lawn and Downtown Square from 3 PM to 8 PM.
Featuring live music, cultural performances, Latin-owned businesses, and incredible food experiences, CULTURA showcases the rich traditions, creativity, and contributions of Latin cultures in an energetic and welcoming environment.
Explore the Globe at Around the World in the DTL
Just one week later, Downtown Lawrenceville becomes an international destination during Around the World in the DTL, held September 25-26.
Presented in partnership with the Atlanta International Night Market, this two-day cultural celebration invites visitors to experience flavors, sounds, traditions, and performances from around the world. Guests can enjoy international cuisine, live entertainment, shopping opportunities, and interactive experiences while discovering the diversity that makes our community vibrant.
The event takes place at the Lawrenceville Lawn from 5 PM to 10 PM on September 25 and 2 PM to 10 PM on September 26.
