Local Performances and Events
The Eagle Theatre is kicking off its February calendar with A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, put on by the Players’ Guild. This dark musical comedy follows the story of Monty Navarro, a penniless clerk who discovers he’s 9th in line to inherit the Earldom of Highhurst. With dim prospects due to his position, Monty chooses to eliminate the D’Ysquith family members to take the full inheritance. You can catch this entertaining performance from February 6 to 15 at the theater, just in time for Valentine’s Day or a fun Galentine’s out.
If you’re looking for a more immersive-style experience, there will be a 1950s Sock Hop Murder Mystery Dinner Theater on February 12! The Eagle Theatre Gallery will be transformed into a retro sock hop with colorful characters and a mystery that patrons will help solve. This theatrical performance includes a three-course dinner and one drink ticket for cocktail hour. Tickets are limited with only 60 available to create a more intimate experience and patrons are encouraged to dress in 1950s flair.
Broad Street Film Fest
For any film enthusiasts out there, Sugar Hill will soon be home to our very own Broad Street Film Fest!
