In honor of our in full bloom edition, we’re diving into Gas South District’s lineup of upcoming spring events! Whether you’re looking for a thrilling hockey game, a family-friendly event or a romantic evening with your plus one, there’s plenty of games and performances to choose from.
The event lineup kicks off the first week of March with the Ally ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament at the Gas South Arena. Taking place from March 4-11, this tournament will be the first time that the Division I collegiate women’s basketball conference will be in the Greater Atlanta area! Within the same week, ballet fans will be treated to Gwinnett Ballet Theatre’s Cinderella with showtimes from March 6-8. This exceptional performance brings the beloved fairy tale of Cinderella to life through enchanting choreography and breathtaking costumes. To round out the thrilling week is a unique Draw the District: A Chalk Arts Festival, taking place on Saturday, March 7! This festival will transform Gas South District’s outdoor spaces into an open-air gallery complete with live chalk art, a small artist market, food vendors and so much more.
For any hockey fans out there, the Atlanta Gladiators will be hitting the ice starting on March 11 with a ton of home games. Whether you’re a die-hard professional hockey fan or you’re interested in checking out a new sport, the Atlanta Gladiators games never disappoint. For any Heated Rivalry fans, there will be a Books & the Boy Aquarium event at the March 21 hockey game! Perfect for the BookTok girls to experience, this exciting event is hosted by Damsel Bookstore in partnership with the Atlanta Gladiators, featuring book craft stations, free hair tinsel, exclusive jerseys and so much more.
