The City of Snellville recently saw an exciting grand opening event for the Towne Center Market project! This community hub is a 13,000-square-foot facility, bringing the beloved dining hall scene of Metro Atlanta into Gwinnett. Along with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, one of the long-awaited vendors, Crooked Can Brewing Co., officially opened its doors, serving up delicious home-brewed beers.
One of the key visions behind this project was to give Snellville residents and surrounding visitors a multi-generational space to socialize and experience a vibrant dining scene. Inside the Market, you’ll find a variety of food and drink vendors, like Crooked Can Brewing Co., Philly G Steaks, Pita Mediterranean Street Food and Key’s Cakery. Other vendors that will be coming soon include Pizzeria Fiamma, MackinMikes Mac ’n’ Cheese Bar, The Local Butcher & BBQ and Meltaway Ice Cream, making the Market a truly diverse food scene. It’s a great place to catch up with family and friends, discover new cuisines and enjoy the community vibe of Snellville, all without having to make the long commute to other food halls in Atlanta.
The grand opening event, which took place on Thursday, January 15, featured live music with a DJ, free samples of Philly cheesesteaks and infused lemonades from Philly G Steaks and of course, incredible brews poured by the Crooked Can team. It saw a great turnout of locals and visitors alike who got a taste and feel of the Market’s offerings. If you’re a fan of craft beer and incredible food, now is the time to check out Snellville’s newest dining destination!
