Q: What inspired you to open your jewelry store, and how did you get started?
A: “After my daughter was born, I started designing jewelry as a creative outlet, selling to other retailers and at festivals. As my business outgrew my kitchen table, I found a perfect spot in historic Norcross with a beautiful front window. What began as a hobby became my life’s work—a space I love showing up to every day.”
Q: Over 15 years, what’s been the most rewarding part of creating and running your own jewelry business?
A: “Without question, it’s the community—customers who’ve become friends and the connections built through shared stories. Creating from the heart and making it my job is a dream come true. After 15 years in corporate IT, reaching this milestone feels like the best “point of no return,” especially seeing my designs bring joy and become part of family traditions.”
Q: What jewelry trends are you seeing right now that you love?
A: “I love the return to meaningful jewelry—layered, personalized looks with natural gemstones. Color is back, metals are being mixed and pieces reflect emotion and self-expression rather than fleeting trends.”
Q: Are there any holiday traditions, either personal or in your store, that you’ve kept going all these years?
A: “Every holiday season, the store becomes a wonderland of artisan gifts and community spirit. I host Alice in Wonderland-inspired events like ‘unbirthdays,’ scavenger hunts and Mad Hatter dress-up parties, keeping imagination and joy alive each year.”
Q: Looking ahead, what’s your vision for the store?
A: “After COVID, I began featuring other artisans’ work alongside my own.
