Save the Date for Snellville’s Fall Events 

The City of Snellville’s event lineup this September and October is packed full of exciting festivals, Food Truck Fridays and fall activities for the whole family to enjoy. Whether you’re a foodie lover looking to explore Snellville’s global cuisines, a pumpkin-spiced expert looking for a fall festival or a local interested in some community fun, Snellville’s got something for you this autumn.

In September, you can expect a variety of themed events starting with Food Truck Friday on the 5th. Held at Snellville Towne Green, skip your typical dinner plans and come explore local food trucks from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Then, the International Taste of Snellville is bringing every foodie lover’s dream to life from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13. Featuring local participating restaurants, the top chefs from around the city will be coming together to create sample-sized portions of their favorite dishes. You can purchase sample tickets that range from $1 to $4 over at the Ticket tent when you arrive, which also gets you a Tasting Card. If you visit at least 7 stops at the event, you can drop off your card at the Information Tent for your chance to win exciting door prizes that will be announced at 7:30 p.m. the night of the event. Besides getting a taste of cuisines from around the globe, there will also be a free caricature drawing station and live entertainment by DJ Lee, Orquesta Taboga Caribbean and Calyspo Band. Plus, if you want to keep the kids entertained, you can purchase an All Day Kids Zone Activity Band for $15, giving them access to inflatables, a rock climbing wall, train rides, a gaming bus and a mini golf course.

If you’re looking to enjoy a fun cultural festival,the Latino Festival will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on September 20. This free event will feature live music, food vendors, art and dance performances all to celebrate the beautiful Latino culture. To close out the month’s event schedule, the Guardians of the Jukebox will be hitting the stage at the Towne Green on September 27. From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., enjoy the tunes from this ultimate 80s time machine band!

For October’s lineup, the fun begins again with Food Truck Friday on October 3. This is the last Food Truck Friday of the season so if you haven’t checked it out, this is your last chance! Then, on October 25, the 16th Annual Snellville Fall Festival will take place on the Town Green, the perfect festival to enjoy all of your pumpkin-spiced dreams. From 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., event goers can enjoy craft vendors, live entertainment and delicious food vendors. For some extra autumn fun, you can participate in the pumpkin decorating activity for just $2! If you’re looking for an excuse to pull out your Halloween costume early, there will be a costume contest at 1:30 p.m. and a dog costume contest at 3:00 p.m. with fun prizes! Then, the Ray Howard Band will take the stage at 4:00 p.m. with the sounds of Motown for some incredible live entertainment. This event is a great way to enjoy the spooky season vibes this October!
