Summers are meant for listening to live music, eating delicious food and having fun! Get ready to experience all of this and more with Lilburn’s upcoming Rock the Park event. This free community event features performances from premier cover bands and food trucks for a night you and your friends won’t forget.
Coming to Lilburn City Park on Saturday, June 7, Rock the Park will begin at 7:00 p.m. and last until 9:30 p.m., making it the perfect weekend concert to add to your calendar! Public parking is available at the Greenway parking lot over on Main Street and at the Railroad Avenue Parking lot.
We recommend heading over to the food trucks for some delicious bites and drinks when you arrive to beat the crowd. The event is entirely outside, which means packing essentials such as picnic blankets, chairs, bug spray, water and anything else you may need is encouraged! Guests are also welcome to bring a cooler with their own snacks and drinks, just no outside alcoholic beverages. Adult drinks will be available at the event to purchase.
Rock the Park’s live music kicks off with Wesley & The Ridge Riders as the opening act. Named after the Wesley Ridge neighborhood in Lilburn, this suburban dad band plays all of the hits, including “Sweet Caroline,” that’ll have you on your feet and singing along! For the headliner, get ready for the British Invasion cover band Her Majesty’s Request. You’ll be transported back to the 1960s when British pop and rock ruled the world. They play classics from Bowie and The Beatles to The Clash and The Rolling Stones.
