Red, White, and Dazzle!

Get ready for an Independence Day extravaganza with the City of Lilburn’s Sparkle in the Park event! This free event takes place on July 3 at Lilburn City Park for a night of live music, food vendors and an incredible fireworks display.

Parking at the event is a breeze with the City of Lilburn’s free shuttles which run from Lilburn City Hall, Lilburn First Baptist Church on First and Young st., as well as at Killian Hill Road and Poplar Street. For those that need accessible parking, there will be spots available on a first-come basis at Lilburn City Park on 76 Main Street. For event goers, Main Street will be closed to traffic from 9:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. to allow pedestrians to get back safely once the fireworks display ends. Once you’ve hopped on the shuttle, get ready for a night filled with fun, entertainment and food!

The celebration kicks off at 6 p.m. with food trucks, activities for the kids and a live music lineup. Stay tuned for an announcement of the food truck vendor lineup! As for the live entertainment, Atlanta’s dynamic bass band known as Funk Cake is the opener for the event. They combine the traditional sound of a rock band with brass instruments for a truly spectacular performance. Afterward, the premier Hip Hop, R&B and Pop tribute band known as Diggity Band takes the stage. They play all of the greatest hits from the ‘90s to the 2000s to get the good vibes flowing!

Once the live entertainment comes to a close at 10 p.m., Sparkle in the Park ends with a showstopping firework display finale! Make sure to bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets so you and the whole family can sit back and enjoy the dazzling show. Join the Lilburn community at Sparkle in the Park to celebrate Independence Day and spend time with friends and family.
