Short notice, big plans! The City of Peachtree Corners is introducing their brand new Quick Pop event series this September. The city is teaming up with local businesses to provide you with fun throughout the rest of the season. From seriously sweet treats to activities that get you out of the house, Quick Pops are designed to build community, delight and smiles.
Expect excitement around every corner as the city sets up a surplus of surprise celebrations and spontaneous mini events; each Quick Pop event is based around a fun, quirky, or delightfully obscure national holiday, so no matter what you’re into, there’s guaranteed to be a very special Quick Pop just for you! With different local businesses, vendors and community partners participating in each Quick Pop, you can rest assured that every event will have its own unique twist and local spin. These events pop up without much warning, and each Quick Pop only lasts around two hours (or until supplies run out), so stay tuned by following us on social media and stay up to date on the latest pop-ups by keeping up with Peachtree Corners’ ever-growing events calendar!
That’s not all you have to be excited for this September! Peachtree Corners is continuing its Flicks on the Green series, featuring plenty of beloved classics that will help you say goodbye to summer. Join your fellow underdogs on September 5th at 7 p.m. on the Town Green to watch iconic 90’s favorite, The Mighty Ducks. Pack a picnic and lawn chairs or simply grab a bite from one of the many Town Center restaurants, then kick back, relax and enjoy the show. Admission is entirely free! (And stay tuned for October’s out-of-this-world flick, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.)
Can’t make it to The Mighty Ducks? No problem! Come on down to The Plaza for Peachtree Corners’ Forum Flicks on September 8th at 6 p.m. to enjoy family friendly fave, Toy Story 3!
Rock out with all your neighbors at Peachtree Corners’ very own Summer Concerts Series! Sing along with Guardians of the Jukebox on Saturday, September 12th at the Town Green, and indulge in their high-energy, contagious party atmosphere. Then, later in the month, connect, vibe and listen close to the smooth sounds and classic charm of The Bourbon Brothers on Saturday, September 26th at 7 p.m. on The Vox Stage at the Town Green. These concerts are free to attend and perfect for all ages, so slip on your dancing shoes and make your way on over!
