Open Late in Gwinnett

You are wrapping up dinner but not quite ready for the night to end. Where should you go, and what should you do in Gwinnett after hours? We have several recommendations to keep the party going.

Every Friday this summer from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., you will not want to miss Treetop Quest’s “Glow in the Park” nighttime experience. Enjoy the thrill of a nighttime adventure as you explore their aerial trails and fly along the zipline under the moon and stars! Reservations are strongly recommended. Must be over seven years old.

If the 19th hole is your favorite, we highly recommend a late night at TopGolf in Buford, where the games, food and beverages flow until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. If the munchies hit post-golf, Parma Tavern is just down the street, open until 1:00 a.m. every day except Sunday. We highly recommend the Parma Ale and a delicious wood-fired pizza. If ethnic cuisine sounds more appealing, Seo Ra Beol in Duluth is open 24 hours daily, making it the ultimate after-hours stop. Gal Bi, their marinated short rib, is a can’t-miss choice.

And if you’re still not ready for the night to end, grabbing the mic at one of Gwinnett’s busy Korean Karaoke bars is a blast. At Do Re Mi, you can enjoy a private room and choose from hundreds of songs until closing time at 2:00 a.m. Gen Z’ers will love the vibe at Agit Lounge and Karaoke, where the vibrant interior is complete with original, handcrafted graffiti-style artwork in all karaoke rooms. The artwork is a unique take on classic cartoon characters like Kermit the Frog and Bart Simpson. AGIT also boasts a full kitchen serving creative, adventuresome dishes perfect for dinner or late-night snacking. Highlights include spicy pork belly pasta and an entire squid, breaded and deep-fried.

Head north towards the heart of busy Sugar Hill, where one of our recent finds is the Sugar Hill Distillery. Don’t let the name fool you—you will find fine spirits, tasty German lagers, a full-service restaurant and a Euro-inspired Biergarten. Even better, it’s pet-friendly and stays open until 11:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

An excellent large group recommendation would be the vibrant I Luv Bowling in Duluth. For just 20 dollars for two hours of bowling (15 dollars during the week), it is an inexpensive way to keep the party going. If bowling is not your thing, there are billiards and a restaurant/ lounge for late-night snacks. Weekend hours run until 2:00 a.m.!

And if a sports bar full of rowdy fans is your scene, we highly recommend Hammerheads Seafood and Sports Bar in Suwanee. Open until 2:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, you’ll find dozens of TVs, live music, team trivia and weekend DJs. It’s a lively place to spend your Friday evening.

Locals may not realize that one of Atlanta’s busiest comedy club venues is located just off Jimmy Carter Blvd. in Norcross. Atlanta Comedy Theatre is an upscale, 250-seat venue that features well-known comedians every week. It also offers dinner theater, drag brunch, murder mysteries and live performances. Most shows start at 10 p.m., but no worries—there is a full-service restaurant and bar for late-night dining.
