Mark your calendars now, because the City of Sugar Hill has a lot in store for you this September!
Get in the groove with Forever Motown at The Eagle! Don your dancing shoes and enjoy song and dance from classic hits and Motown legends. The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder—all of the great names we remember from Berry Gordy’s Detroit hit-making factory and more are being celebrated at The Eagle this September! Expect energetic beats and a fabulous cast of incredible musicians, and experience a night where you can dance, swing, and sing along with all the bands honoring Motown royalty. Doors open at seven and the show starts at eight. Get your tickets early or at the door and enjoy the show!
(Keep that love of music alive by saving a spot on your calendar on October 2nd to see alternative rock band, Marcy Playground, rock out at The Eagle Theatre!)
All that dancing will surely work up an appetite, and luckily enough, the Sugar Hill Farmers Market has you covered every Tuesday night at The Landing. Operating from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Farmer’s Market is open to all and is a great place where you can shop locally made goods and fresh produce, all while supporting your local farmers and fellow community members!
And keep that health kick going by attending Saturday Yoga at The Bowl. Classes begin at 10 a.m. and no experience is required; this is a free, all-levels yoga class! Be sure to bring your own yoga mat and plenty of water to combat the heat!
Keep up with all the latest events in the City of Sugar Hill by following along on social media or keep an eye out for their events calendar to learn more about the fun happenings listed here. Make the most of the rest of your summer and spend it having a blast in Sugar Hill!
