The City of Lilburn has announced Fiesta in the Park, a vibrant, family-friendly community celebration bringing the energy, color and traditions of Cinco de Mayo right to Lilburn City Park. This exciting new event promises an afternoon and evening filled with music, movement, delicious food and unforgettable entertainment for all ages.
Set your calendars for Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., as Lilburn City Park transforms into a lively fiesta. The celebration kicks off at 4:00 p.m. on the bandshell with Alma Mexicana Folk Dance, followed by a lively Mariachi Band and the sultry rhythms of the Latin Jazz Band Salpicon. Angel Arroyo, also known by the stage name DJ Lunee, will serve as MC, keeping the energy high and the crowd engaged throughout the evening. Whether you love dancing, singing along or simply soaking in the festive atmosphere, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
At 6:00 p.m., the excitement continues as Mucha Lucha ATL takes center stage with Lucha Libre Wrestling, a top grassroots sport in Mexico that combines athleticism, theatrical flair and high-flying fun. Fans of all ages can experience the thrill of authentic Mexican wrestling right in the heart of Lilburn. In addition to live performances, Fiesta Lilburn will feature cultural art and craft vendors, where visitors can browse vibrant handmade creations celebrating Latin traditions. Traditional Latin food vendors will serve up crowd favorites, offering the perfect opportunity to taste the rich and colorful flavors of the region. Families can also enjoy the inflatables, with wristbands available for $20 for unlimited play or $1 tickets for individual activities (each activity costs three tickets).
The event is designed with accessibility in mind. Accessible parking is available in the Main Street parking lot at Lilburn City Park, while walkable parking can be found at the Greenway Trail parking lot, public parking lots in Old Town Lilburn, Lilburn First Baptist Church and the Lilburn City Hall parking lot.“ Fiesta in the Park is all about bringing the community together to celebrate culture, music and family fun,” said Jill Minnoia, Community Engagement & Event Administrator. “We want everyone—residents, families and visitors—to come out and experience the joy, energy and color of this exciting new event.
