LIFE CYCLE

Gwinnett County offers cyclists riding opportunities, both on and off the road. Whether working off a tough commute, exercising, or just checking out the beautiful parks, Gwinnett County Parks and Rec have a trail for you. Don’t use the excuse of being too tired to get two-tired! (See what we did there?)
Harbins Park in Dacula features 13 miles of specialized mountain bike trails. The bike trails cover a wide range of difficulty levels, making Harbins one of the best spots in the county for avid cyclists. The 12-mile, smooth and level Yellow River Park soft-surface trail is a great path for intermediate cyclists. The Snellville park also features a one-mile paved multipurpose trail. The north side of the county can enjoy the eight miles of shaded paths that run from the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center to the Mall of Georgia.

Don’t even have a bike, but love the idea of riding one? The City of Suwanee boasts the county’s first and only bike share program. Bike stations at Suwanee Creek Park and Town Center Park each house up to eight bikes. Bikes may be rented via app for up to three hours for free, and at a cost of $3 per additional hour; the maximum fee for all day use of a bike is $30. All riders must be at least 18 years old and provide their own helmets.
