Holiday Fun for the Whole Family
The event kicks off on Saturday, November 22 and lasts until Sunday, November 30, perfect for getting a jumpstart on your holiday festivities. As for activities, there’s so much to experience, including riding The Pink Pig, holiday cookie decorating, FREE photos with Santa, ornament decorating, shopping at Santa’s Workshop, LEGO building activities and so much more! Along with the daily event schedule, patrons can experience fun themes on select event days, including Pajama Day on November 23 and Ugly Sweater Day on November 28. An Enchanting Forest of Holiday Trees
A key highlight of the event is walking through a winter wonderland of holiday trees, donated by patrons and local organizations. All of the decorated trees will be auctioned off to the highest bidder, with proceeds going towards the event organization’s charity partners, including Street Grace and Atlanta Redemption Ink. Along with trees, other donations, including wreaths, centerpieces, nativity scenes and old tech are accepted and displayed at the event to be auctioned off. Donating is an important piece to this event, as the Georgia Festival of Trees is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention of commercial sexual exploitation of women and children in Georgia. Proceeds from the event itself go towards the previously mentioned charity partners to help initiatives and restorative services for survivors.
Adult Only Exclusive Events
Along with the event’s family-friendly activities, there are also exclusive events that adults can experience. On the opening day, a special Christmas in Paradise event will take place for patrons who are 21+. This holiday celebration is giving the ultimate island vibes with a performance from A1A, the official Jimmy Buffett tribute band. Along with live entertainment, this celebration features trip giveaways, a bourbon pull, prizes, a silent auction, dinner stations, a cash bar and other exciting activities. Tickets can be purchased to attend this after-hours event, which kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Another fun addition to the event that adult patrons can enjoy is the After Dark Comedy Showcase that will take place on November 29. Featuring a comedy showdown between five local comedians, a free drink, snack bar access, raffles, games and more, this event is sure to be a hit!
