Looking for a reason to plan your next night out? Gas South Theater has one of its most diverse seasons yet, with everything from tribute concerts and Broadway to ballet and family favorites. Whether you’re reliving the soundtrack of your youth or starting a new tradition, there’s something on the calendar worth checking out.
The season begins with a pair of tribute shows celebrating music legends. Queen Nation takes the stage on September 26 with a live recreation of Queen’s biggest hits, complete with the costumes, harmonies and stage presence fans know and love. Then on October 17, Final Resurrection: A Memorial Celebration of Ozzy Osbourne brings together fans for a one-night-only event featuring the reunion of Blizzard of Ozzy and a setlist spanning both Black Sabbath and Ozzy’s solo career.
As the holidays roll around, the theater shifts gears with two longtime favorites. Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical arrives November 8, bringing the classic story to life for audiences of all ages. In December, Gwinnett Ballet Theatre returns with its annual production of The Nutcracker, a holiday tradition that’s celebrating its 45th year with a live orchestra, beautiful dancing and all the magic people have come to expect.
The bold lineup continues into 2027 with even more can’t-miss performances! On January 9, Marshall Charloff & The Purple xPeRIeNCE celebrates the music of Prince with a live performance that has toured around the world. Later that month, Gwinnett Ballet Theatre presents Dracula…A Ballet to Die For, one of its most popular productions and a local favorite. February brings the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Shucked before the season wraps up with Firebird, a powerful ballet inspired by Russian folklore.
Whether you’re a Broadway fan, a rock fan or just looking for something different to do close to home, Gwinnett’s Boldest Season is full of opportunities to experience live entertainment without leaving Gwinnett. Check out the full lineup and plan your next night out at GasSouthDistrict.com.
