Calling all art enthusiasts! If you’re looking for a local event that will spark your creativity this summer, mark your calendars now for the Midsummer Kids Festival. This unique event will take place on Saturday, July 18, at the Town Center. From 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., you’ll get to experience the ultimate immersive art festival, from face painting and interactive activities to rides and giant bubbles. Peachtree Corners Arts will also be at the event, creating the Chalk Walk, an incredible live chalk painting created by talented local artists. This will be a fantastic chance to snap a selfie with the whole family in front of the vibrant Chalk Walk! Another unique aspect of this event is the Children’s Entrepreneur Market, which will feature over 40 kid-run businesses. This market gives little creators the ability to showcase their talent through handmade crafts, sweet treats, art and other creations. Help support the next generation of entrepreneurs and soak up the creativity by bringing the whole family to this exceptional event.
If you’re looking to enjoy the sweet tunes of local bands this summer, you need to check out the Summer Concert Series. This free music series features a variety of unique concerts all summer long and there will be two dynamic concerts that you won’t want to miss. On July 11, Nashville Nation will be hitting the Vox Stage at 7:00 p.m. to perform the feel-good country anthems we all know and love. If you’re not a country fan, Material Girl and B4Y2K will be performing a high-energy throwback night on July 25. From 80s rock and pop favorites to classic 90s alternative anthems, this performance will be one for the books!
Rounding out Peachtree Corners’ creative scene this summer is Flicks on the Green!
