Hey party-people, it’s Norm, the face of DiG and chief digger-upper of hidden gems in Gwinnett. That’s a lot of responsibility for one small worm, but if you’re anything like me, then the warm summer sun makes it all too easy to forget your responsibilities. One moment I’m catching a tan on the sidewalk, and the next thing I know birthdays, business outings and Norm-family functions have snuck up on me, and they need planning, fast! Suddenly, I’m no longer floating in the pool, I’m drowning in decisions: decorations, food and activities. Luckily, I’ve unearthed the solution for how to throw stress-free events, and what better way to celebrate my discovery than with a party!
You’re invited to my Summer Sendoff, hosted by DiG and Main Event. On July 16th from 4:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. I’m showing all my friends my new favorite party-spot: Main Event in Suwanee! Explore the spacious electric venue, its restaurant and bar, and best of all check out the thrilling activities for free! Start the night off with bowling, then once you’ve knocked down some pins, team up and take on laser tag. By now you’ll be needing to refuel, so enjoy complimentary snacks and fountain drinks. Then get back to the fun with Main Event’s collection of games, featuring arcade games, virtual reality, air hockey, billiards and more.
You even have the chance to win a free ticket to their brand-new game, The Human Crane, by visiting the Main Event table. While you’re at it, drop by The DiG table and enter to win a special prize pack from BELK The Mall of Georgia. Other local businesses will be tabling with activities and more chances to win prizes, and I even invited my local mascot friends to party with us! I know what you’re thinking, how did one worm (great as he is) plan such a well thought out party, with snacks, drinks, activities and special guests, all on his own? Well, that’s the real reason I’m throwing this party, to show you humans how easy it is to throw an epic party when you host at Main Event!
Now about that RSVP… not required, but I’d highly recommend it. Why? Because it gives you extra chances to win some pretty great surprises like tickets to events at Gas South Arena, a trip to the Fernbank Museum, and other fun giveaways I may or may not have personally “unearthed.” It’s going to be a party to remember. I can’t wait to see everyone!
