Perry is home to the Georgia National Fairgrounds and bustles with year-round rodeos, sports championships, agricultural shows and of course, the Georgia National Fair! But, there’s more to Perry than the fairgrounds! It’s a great place to spend the day and Downtown Perry is a must see!

Perry’s quaint downtown is a charming village of specialty shops that offer a variety of choices from southern boutiques, antique stores, to hunting & fishing supplies, making this shopping trip one that the boys won’t mindtoo! A favorite stop is Mossy Creek Natural for handmade bath and body products and they offer classes if you want to learn how you can make some of their popular pampering products. For those with inquisitive minds and history buffs, Perry offers both walking and driving  tours, as well as hands-on education on fish! Yep—a must-do on your list should be going to the Go Fish Education Center, where you can spend time viewing live fish exhibits and learn how to catch fish in a stocked pond. You will be guaranteed toleave with a whopper of a fish tale so, don’t forget to take pictures as proof of your catch!
