This exciting event will be taking place on April 27 at the Curiosity Lab. All are welcome to participate in this event whether you’re an avid runner or you’re more of a walker. Registration for this event ends on April 25 so if you’re interested in joining, make sure to register before the deadline! Presenting sponsors include Werfen and Sidel along with support from Atlas Collaborative and Peachtree Corners.

The registration fee is only $35, with every penny being donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This organization is recognized as the largest nonprofit organization working towards creating a world free of blood cancer. From groundbreaking research and free education to support for blood cancer patients and their families as well as advocacy towards policy changes, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society does it all!

For those unable to join the 5k or want to provide an additional donation, you can visit the registration page and select one of their donation tiers ranging from $20-$100. On the day of the race, registration will take place for runners/walkers between 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. so make sure to arrive early! The race itself will start at 9 a.m. and will end with an awards ceremony at 10:30 a.m.

The fun doesn’t stop there because along with the Charity 5k, the 3rd Annual Curiosity Lab Criterium will also be taking place! This joint event will be held at the Curiosity Lab on one of their legendary courses and will finish at Peachtree Corners City Hall. Sponsors of this popular event include Speed Week, USA Cycling and of course the Curiosity Lab!

This isn’t just an event for cycling enthusiasts because there’s plenty for the whole family to enjoy while watching the top male and female racers attempt one of the most challenging tracks on the circuit. From food and beverage vendors and a DJ spinning live tracks to kids’ races and a kid zone, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The event schedule is broken down into multiple races for men, women, juniors and kids as well as for the pros. Be on the lookout as details on how to sign up for this portion of the event are coming out soon!
