Rev up your engines because the biggest, loudest and coolest event is returning to Gas South Arena this September. That’s right, Monster Jam is back!

If you are unfamiliar with Monster Jam, then allow me to fill you in on all the muddy details. Monster Jam is an action-packed motorsport event, starring 10,000 pound monster trucks, each with their own unique flair. From El Toro Loco’s iconic horns and red flames to Sparkle Smash’s legendary unicorn horn and mane, the eight competing trucks are works of art—even before they start doing flips. The drivers compete in four challenges: racing, skills, donuts and freestyle, while fans score them right from their phones! Each intense competition gives the drivers a unique opportunity to flaunt their skills and their truck’s durability.

Now that you’re caught up on the basics, we can dive into Monster Jam’s upcoming event at Gas South Arena on September 12-13. The day kicks off at 10:30 a.m. with the Pit Party, where you can see the trucks up close, meet the drivers and take pictures! Then at noon, find your seats for Monster Jam Trackside, an hour of driver interviews, behind the scenes and opening ceremonies. The main event will begin at 1 p.m. with racing through the mud, flips and wheelies and enough donuts to make you dizzy! If a morning of Monster Jam isn’t your style, don’t worry there is an evening show both days as well, starting at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
