Coffee & Cafes Vs. Beers & Breweries

This one’s for the brew lovers who start their day with a delicious latte from a cafe and end it with a craft beer from a local brewery! Get ready to enjoy delicious brews in Gwinnett from sunrise till sunset with our curated itinerary!

Coffee Shops

Warm Waves – Suwanee

Located in Downtown Suwanee, Warm Waves has the perfect trendy and retro vibe inside to jumpstart your morning. They make all of their syrups and roast their own beans – it doesn’t get better than that! We recommend giving their vanilla latte a try with almond milk for that perfect sweet and nutty flavor. They also have a rotating seasonal menu of drinks with customized syrups that you can’t go wrong with!

Beans & Butter Coffeehouse – Lawrenceville

This Black owned business has a cozy coffeehouse vibe inside with a wide variety of delicious sips to choose from, along with housemade bakery items! Our recommendation is to try their honey almond latte; they make the syrup in-house and it’s truly one-of-a-kind. You might as well grab one of their pastries too (their almond croissant is to die for) and enjoy a relaxing morning at the cafe.

Alchemist On the Divide – Duluth

This new addition to Downtown Duluth has a magical vibe with nods to alchemy throughout the shop. They use Dutch Coffee for their brews, which gives their drinks a rich flavor profile. We recommend giving one of their specialty brews a try, such as their Blackberry Dutch, which uses a delicious blackberry syrup.

Beers & Breweries

Slow Pour Brewing Co. – Lawrenceville

Located in the old railroad district of Downtown Lawrenceville, this brewery is a popular place where locals unwind with a craft beer and enjoy the twinkling lights and garden space of their outdoor area. Grab a pint of one of their sours for a truly fruity and summer experience, such as their No Love Lost, which features notes of raspberry, vanilla and rose hips.

Cultivation Brewing Co. – Norcross

Another local favorite, this brewery offers an intimate drinking experience with seating both inside and outside. They have a variety of beer types for every palette but for that extra summer vibe, give their Green Thumb a try! This brew symbolizes their commitment to supporting the community as it is made with Georgia-grown hops from the Nocross Discovery Garden and from their head brewers and friends’ gardens.

Still Fire Brewing – Suwanee

Enjoy the family-friendly vibes of this Downtown Suwanee brewery! From their large outdoor space complete with cozy fire pits and their inside area often filled with live music or trivia events, this brewery has it all! They have a ton of craft beer options, but we recommend giving their Koastal Krush a try, which is a mimosa sour for a nice and refreshing brew.
