Autumn is my absolute favorite time of the year. From the cozy sweaters and cooler weather to pumpkin spice everything and nights spent watching scary movies, it’s time to soak up the fall vibes in Gwinnett! Whether you’re looking for a fun festival or an eerie activity, there’s so much to do this spooky season.
Pumpkin-Spiced Festivals
Duluth Fall Festival
September 27 | 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. & September 28 | 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
Featuring Gwinnett’s largest parade, you won’t want to miss this autumn favorite. This year, you can expect over 40 food vendors, a petting zoo, handcrafted drinks, booths and live entertainment.
Snellville Fall Festival
Oct. 25 | 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Breathe in the fresh fall air at this local and free event! There will be an all-ages costume contest, a dog costume contest, craft vendors and a full entertainment schedule. For some extra fun, there will be a Pumpkin Decorating Activity for just $2, so you can paint the perfect pumpkin to take home.
6th Annual Boo Fest
October 24 | 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Get ready to celebrate Halloween in style with this family-friendly boo-rific event in Downtown Lawrenceville. Come dressed in your best spooky costume and get ready to fill up your pail with goodies along the treat trail, as well as enjoy food vendors and themed activities.
Spine-Tingling Festivities
Haunted Duluth Tours
October 11 | 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Take a guided 45-minute tour of Downtown Duluth if you dare with the Haunted Duluth Tours. Tickets can be purchased in advance but spectators will get to hear the forgotten spooky stories of Duluth’s past.
Buford Corn Maze
Late September to October
After trying your luck at the corn maze, head over to their Scream Zone for a real scare. This year’s theme is “Into the Twisted Hollow,” which takes you on an immersive experience through a creepy forest, full of terrifying surprises. You’ll get 3-D glasses to distort your view and manipulate the senses.
Dinner & a Boovie
October 25 | 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Head over to Downtown Suwanee for a night of trick-or-treating along Town Center Avenue and mischief. There will also be inflatables, games, food trucks, to-go beverages and a double-feature movie, so come in your best costume and get ready for a night of spootacular fun!
