Summertime is all about being outside. The sun is out, the birds are singing and there are so many fun outdoor activities happening all around you! Gwinnett County is jam-packed with unique cities, all of them hosting their own slew of exciting summer events. To brighten up your sunny season, check out what the City of Sugar Hill has in store for you this August, and enjoy anything from weekly Farmer’s Markets to Saturday Yoga, live concerts at The Bowl, a super special Splash Night and so much more!
Need a fresh fix? Stop by The Landing every Tuesday at 4 p.m. to shop for farm fresh produce, homemade bits and bobs and unique handmade goodies at the Sugar Hill Farmer’s Market! Come on out and support your local farmers and vendors, and, while you’re at it, grab all your weekly favorites, discover something new, or simply enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the summer sun, smack-dab in the heart of downtown Sugar Hill!
In the spirit of keeping things fresh, brighten up your mornings with Saturday Yoga at The Bowl. Taking place every Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m., this outdoor yoga class is free and available for all-levels! Be sure to bring your own yoga mat and plenty of water. Register online today, so that you can be downward-dogging by tomorrow!
With all these hot events happening in Sugar Hill, it’s important to keep cool. What better way to do that than with Splash Night! Make your way to Sugar Hill’s very own Splash pad—Splash Park— located right behind City Hall from 6 to 9 p.m. on August 28th for a refreshing night of fun, food and endless festivities! Expect local vendors, appearances from community groups and the Stormwater department, as well as live music, food trucks and more. Be the first to arrive and receive a small gift to really get the ball rolling! And, as the sun sets, settle down with the whole family and enjoy a screening of Lilo and Stitch (2025) on the big screen at The Bowl.
