About Us

Do you love attending local events in the Gwinnett area or discovering new restaurants in your area that bring something new to the table? Here at the DiG, we uncover the latest in arts, eats and events across Gwinnett in a bi-monthly magazine and digital format. Keep yourself up-to-date with what’s fun and new in your county by keeping up with the DiG and the fresh news we dig up.

Curious about the history behind The DiG and who we are?
Let’s dig right in! The idea behind the publication blossomed from owner Pam Ledbetter’s desire to give Gwinnett residents a way to stay connected to their community, including the latest in events! After that, the rest is history! Well, not really but you get the idea. After a lot of research and creative discussions, the branding behind The DiG with the iconic shovel for digging up the latest news was born. After that, with a team of writers and graphic designers, the first edition inaugural March/April issue came out in 2017 and was a success. It gave readers in the area access to the latest in eats, arts, and events around the county. If you go back far enough in our digital issues, you’ll notice that the article categories such as Day Trip, Road Trip and 5 Within 50 are still in use today!

PRESENT DAY
The DiG has seen a lot of changes over the years and now encompasses a fully online presence with exclusive content. With a refresh of our branding to have a more sophisticated feel with a deeper color palette, The DiG has transformed into a publication that’s your perfect Gwinnett companion for exploring and experiencing all that the county has to offer! Other exciting developments include weekly newsletters, Uncover Gwinnett through a partnership with local cities, the Not the Norm series, giveaways, contests and so much more! The DiG team is always looking to uncover the latest news for readers in the form of content for the publication and for social media!
