If you’re looking for artsy events to spice up your fall this September, then Norcross is the place for you. From live music to festivals, they’re bringing a dose of creativity to your social calendar!
Come on down to Thrasher Park and soak up some swinging jazz tunes at Jazz In The Alley. This summer concert series has been bringing talented jazz musicians to the stage, generating one-of-a-kind performances and unforgettable nights. On September 19, join Norcross in the last Jazz In The Alley performance of the season, as R&B, Ryan Kilgore and Brooke Alford blow the crowd away with their blend of violin and saxophone. Grab a picnic blanket and get ready for a night of jazz under the stars!
For our movie-lovers, Norcross hosts Movie Mondays every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at the Cultural Arts & Community Center. On September 14, be drawn into the scandalous lives of the British elite in a showing of Downtown Abbey: The Grand Finale. Then on September 28, uncover the life of the iconic Texan singer with a showing of Selena. Whether you make it a Monday date night ritual or a whole family affair, Movie Mondays are a great way to enjoy a week night!
To top off this fall full of creativity, Norcross is hosting the Norcross Art Splash Festival on October 3-4. Join hundreds of artists and art enthusiasts at Thrasher Park for two days of celebrating all things art. From glasswork to pottery, jewelry to paintings, artists will be showcasing masterpieces of every medium. There will be live music and delicious food to enjoy as you wander through rows and rows of inspiring works. And for the kids, there will be face painting, playground equipment and sand art! Join Norcross in celebrating the great artists found right here in the community!
