Snellville’s summer event lineup is packed with exciting concerts, family-friendly events and community fun! There’s always something fun to do in Snellville so make the most of the longer days and sunshine skies by checking out our events.
If you’re trying to figure out your 4th of July plans, look no further than Star Spangled Snellville! Held on Friday, July 4 at the Town Green, the fun kicks off at 4:00 p.m. with delicious food vendors for you to check out. Then, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., local cover band group Rhythm Nation will take the stage for a thrilling performance. They cover all of the classics from ABBA and AC/DC to today’s hits from Bruno Mars and Dua Lipa. Once the concert comes to a close, it’s time to get comfortable with your folding chairs and blankets for one of the best fireworks shows in the Southeast which starts at 9:30 p.m.
Looking to experience more live music? Snellville’s Live on the Lawn free concert series will host three shows this summer on July 19, August 23 and September 27 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For the July show, enjoy the soulful tunes from Natural Wonder, the ultimate Stevie Wonder tribute band. In August, Latin Explosion will take the stage, playing classic tribute to Gloria Estefan, Selena, J.Lo and Santana. Then, for the September 27 concert, the ultimate ‘80s time machine known as Guardians of the Jukebox will play an electrifying performance. Pick whichever concert suits your vibe best or take advantage of the free admission and attend both! You can also reserve a VIP table for any of the concerts at Experience Snellville.
Once August first hits, the excitement is just starting with Food Truck Friday. Check out delicious vendors including Love at Wurst Site, The Patty Wagon, Hole in the Wall and many others from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Town Green. For a full list of vendors, check out our event calendar! Another recurring community event known as the Snellville Farmers’ Market will continue through August on every Saturday until September 27. Join us from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and browse through a variety of local vendors selling produce, baked goods and more. Take a look at our Facebook page to see each week’s vendor announcement.
For those who were planning to check out our annual Beach Blast, which was unfortunately canceled due to weather conditions, we’re excited to share that it’s been rescheduled for August 10. Admission is free but at the event, you can purchase $15 activity bands to have exclusive access to activities, including the Big Kahuna water slide, inflatables and others. There will be a variety of food vendors to choose from and margaritas available for 21+ guests to purchase and enjoy. This is the perfect event to bring the kids to for an afternoon of fun and 80 tons of soft white sand to play in.
